trybooking

Trybooking has been supporting the GSHA and Schools with online event ticketing since 2014.

Why?

We save time and costs by managing school event bookings online be that Open Days, Speech Days, Concerts, Performances or Fundraisers.

Many schools manage events manually or via platforms that don’t have functionality to manage events easily.

So how do we help?

You can set up an online event in 10 mins: manage capacities; collect all details required to manage the event with ease e.g., dietary or accessibility; seating plans for concerts and performances; collect names of all guests at an Open Day; limit tickets per family for speech day and take donations to raise funds for the school.

We also have two free mobile apps: scan parents and guest tickets to know exactly who is in the school, as well as sell tickets on the door.

We are free to use for all free school events – no restrictions, and for paid events a very small “pay as you use” fee.

We are known for our exemplary customer service.

You are welcome to call us and ask questions: 0333 344 3477 or email hello@trybooking.co.uk

Global Action

Global Action is designed to empower young people with the knowledge, skills and determination to become Global Citizens, able to effect positive change. Global Learning has a critical role to play in equipping a generation with the vision and means to rise to complex challenges that transcend national borders. There are over 8 billion people in the world today, and more than half are under 30. That’s the biggest youth generation ever! We believe that engaging young people in learning about poverty reduction, environmental issues and social justice can build positive attitudes towards global change.

We do this by delivering outstanding Global Learning programmes that educate and inspire, while equipping students with key life skills such as critical thinking, communication, leadership, teamwork, resilience, determination and grit. We align our programmes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in amazing places such as Borneo, Costa Rica, Greece, India, Morocco, Nepal, Switzerland, Vietnam & Zanzibar. Students also receive the ASDAN Universities Award, highlighted by UCAS for applicants to include in their Personal Statement. This can really help your students stand out from the crowd!

Stone King

Stone King is an independently top-ranked national law firm that is deeply committed to education and which understands the opportunities and challenges met by educational institutions. It delivers high quality, full-service legal advice informed by national know-how but delivered locally through its network of offices in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, London, Bath and Cambridge.

Externally recognised as a leading firm for education law in the UK, the firm’s specialists have in-depth sector experience in all aspects of education provision. In addition to advice on educational provision itself, the broader team advises clients on areas such as employment and HR, procurement, property, dispute resolution and litigation, and mergers. Stone King also has specialists advising on all aspects of school life, from the day-to-day to rare and nuanced matters, including areas as diverse as immigration, information law and intellectual property.

The firm also has excellent networking relationships with national organisations in the education sector, which it seeks to share with its clients. Many of the education specialists in the firm also volunteer their time to act as governors and trustees of schools.

Stone King works with clients on an as-and-when basis, but also operates a long-established and highly effective fixed-fee retainer service. With the latter service option, clients receive focused practical advice from specialist lawyers/HR consultants on operational issues that arise day to day.

Feedback that the firm received in the 2025 issue of Chambers & Partners, in which Stone King was top-ranked for its education practice, said: “The firm delivered bespoke, speedy responses with outstanding outcomes”, and “The lawyers are always responsive and go the extra mile to ensure that we understand all the options”.

FUTURE STORIES COMMUNITY ENTERPRISE LTD

Grammar School Entrance Test written by Grammar Schools for Grammar Schools

Since 2021, Future Stories Community Enterprise has been developing cutting-edge selection tests specifically designed to level the playing field for all children, regardless of background. Our tests reward critical thinking over rote preparation and make private tutoring less effective.

We offer robust and secure testing for both 11+ and In-Year admissions, ensuring consistency and reliability, and have developed online and paper-based options. We test more than just English and Maths; our assessments are crafted to explore the wider KS2 curriculum.

We’ve moved testing away from predictable formats and from reasoning papers that can’t be accessed by students with great curiosity, but limited access to practice papers or tutoring. Our papers reward wider cognitive and problem-solving abilities. Moreover, our tests include a range of options for appraising students’ creativity.

Our rationale is clear:

·         We evaluate how children think, not just what they’ve been taught.

·         We help you identify true potential, not just what’s been remembered.

·         We assess for the most important skills, not the most easily measured.
