Our Team
Our small but expert core team is here to help members and to deliver our programmes. The team is supported by an executive group of serving grammar school heads which is elected by GSHA members in line with its constitution. The Chair serves for a period of two years having served as Vice-Chair for two years prior to taking on the role.

Tim Harris is GSHA Chair from 2026 to 2028. He is Headteacher of Colyton Grammar School
Jon Wood
Vice-Chair
Jon Wood is the Vice-Chair of GSHA from 2026-2027. He is the Headteacher of The Judd School in Tonbridge.
Mark McShane
Vice-Chair
Mark McShane is the Vice-Chair of GSHA from 2026-2028. He is Headteacher of Stroud High School.
Annmarie McNaney
Treasurer
Annmarie McNaney is the Honorary Treasurer of GSHA. She is the Headteacher of Chesham Grammar School.
Matthew Morgan
Chief Executive Officer
Prior to becoming CEO in 2026, Matthew has served as a senior leader in three grammar schools for over 20 years. He was a Headteacher in Gloucestershire for 10 years.

Events Executive
Erica supports GSHA's programme of events for Headteachers, Senior Leaders and Governors/Trustees.
