GSHA is the professional representative body of English Grammar School Headteachers, supported by their Governing and Parent bodies, and driven by regional membership. Our purpose is to pursue our professional aims through the many partnerships we maintain within the education system. Leading development where our strengths so determine and supporting development where need and partnerships suggest.
Only by playing a full part in the education system of this country can we justify our position of strength and sustain our foundation of excellence.
Run by Grammar School Leaders for Grammar Schools.

iTutorMaths (main sponsor)
iTutorMaths' schools page on the Nelson Thornes' website: www.nelsonthornes.com/itutor
iTutorMaths’ online GCSE maths tutoring helps students to achieve exam success. Courses are available for individuals to purchase privately, or for schools; either as a maths intervention for D/C borderline students or to extend the learning of more able students aiming for the highest grades. Each tutorial of up to 10 students is led by a qualified maths teacher with at least 5 years’ experience in UK schools. Students work independently, in pairs and in small groups at the level and on the precise topics that are specific to their exam board, helping to boost grades and confidence.
The Ankir Partnership
In 2011 Ann Barradell-Black swapped a long and successful Civil Service career for the opportunity to share experience and skills in Leadership, Strategy, Managing People and Change-Management with clients in other sectors. Her consultancy The Ankir Partnership (www.ankirpartnership.co.uk) serves a range of clients, but a passion for education means that Ann’s best work has been in schools. Ann keeps in touch with the issues and pressures affecting schools via voluntary roles, as a parent governor at a boys’ Grammar School in Gloucester and as Chair of Governors at Pate’s Grammar School, Cheltenham.
